Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make but about the stories that you tell.
I couldn't agree more with Seth Godin when he said this. You see, stories are powerful. They allow us to feel, to get connected, to cry, to laugh, to feel anger, and that drives behavior. It's only when you tell stories that you make yourself memorable. That's why I encourage everyone to tell your story, to take a camera and a video, and start going at it.
People need to know who you are in order for you to connect with them and for them to feel compelled to buy from you.
