So, today, I want to talk about something that I feel I have a responsibility to train my clients on, and that is how long it takes to create video. So, here's the thing, I usually get a call and they're like, "Diana, I want to do this video and I know that we need to film this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this." And I'm like, "Oh my God, let me budget the time that it will take to do all of that." And then, when I put into my time budget we have to account for set up time, we have to account for people are going to make mistakes, we have to account for eating, having lunch, we have to account for a lot of technical things that might happen the day of the filming. Maybe the set up doesn't work property, maybe we have to dress the space differently. And all of those things have to be taken into consideration. Maybe setting up the way people move in the scene. There's so many things that go into making video, if you want the video to look effortless and perfect. There is a setup time for that. So, here's the thing, usually, people go, "It's not going to take so long," and oh boy, do they get surprised. You see, we plan the shot, so we have enough options for you to use in the editing process. We don't have a journalistic style of filming where people just go with their camera, and they're hand holding it, and whatever goes, goes. We want to make sure that we create that magic that you see in the videos that you fall in love with.
